Chip off the old block!

Everyone loves a good chippy tea, and we’re no different here at the East Lancashire Railway. That’s why we’ve brought back the Fish and Chips lunchtime special!

On selected dates, you can purchase a slap-up meal of fish n’ chips served to you on-board a heritage train, between Bury, Heywood and Rawtenstall. Your ticket covers a whole day of travel to explore the line and nearby Bury Transport Museum, so the fun doesn’t have to stop once the chips are down. Each meal also includes a soft drink.

The Details

Your heritage train departs Bury at 13:10, where Fish ‘n’ Chips will be served to your seat whilst you enjoy a full round trip which includes:

• Heywood arrival 13:23 / depart 13:43
• Rawtenstall arrival 14:50 / depart 15:10
• Arrival back at Bury 15:54

Fish n’ Chips will be presented on-board the train in a takeaway box, by a member of The Trackside Pub team, along with cutlery and condiments.
