On selected dates, you can purchase a slap-up meal of fish n’ chips served to you on-board a heritage train, between Bury, Heywood and Rawtenstall. Your ticket covers a whole day of travel to explore the line and nearby Bury Transport Museum, so the fun doesn’t have to stop once the chips are down. Each meal also includes a soft drink.

Fish ‘n’ Chips will be presented on-board the train in a takeaway box, by a member of The Trackside Pub team, along with cutlery and condiments.

All of our Fish and Chip Special trains depart from Bury Bolton Street Station which has step free access to the platforms. However, we regret that our 1950’s coaches are unable to accommodate wheelchair passengers. Those with limited mobility, will be required to walk to their seats from the platform. Please let us know when making your booking that you require priority seating near the door.
